ive had a search and found a few threads about wheel weight and although helpful, the best i could find was this:
Without tyres weights are as follows
7x15 OEM BBS 7.38kg (without centre cap)
6.5x14 OEM BBS 6.35kg (without centre cap)
6x14 OEM Rim 6.36kg
I have 16" wheels so i figured that if the weight increase is approx 1kg per inch then the 16's would weigh 8.3kg
can anyone verify this rough estimate for me?
thanks.
ps. is there much difference is handling between the 16's and the 15's?
how much do 16" OEM BBS rims weigh?

I would think so, as the tyre profile would be lower to give you the same rolling radius, so therefore less tyrewall flex and maybe a slighty harsher ride.ps. is there much difference is handling between the 16's and the 15's?
But I doubt you feel the difference anyway.
