Hi all, have just got back from a 170 mile round trip to buy 3 pairs of vibe qb69's, for £25 each pair and a pair of infinity 9623i for £25 from halfords clearance sale, had to travel that far as no of the local stores had stock.
I must say they are very sexy, I am planning on putting the 9623's in fiberglass door pods in the front doors of my tourer, and I am planning on building a box for the qb's in the boot, I have a mutant mt2004 amp that I was planning on using to power the 2 pairs of speakers. I see in the leaflet that comes with the vibe speakers that it says I should be running them on 100 rms minimum, but my amp is only 50w rms at 4ohms and 75w rms at 2 ohms, will this be enough or am I at risk of damaging the vibe's if I run them at 4 ohm?, the 9623's say that they have a nominal ohm rating of 2.65.
What would be the best solution to get the best out of my kit?.
I am planning on putting the other 2 pairs of qb69's in the missus tourer and my e28.

50w rms would be fine for the speakers although an amp of 75w rms minimum would be perfect for it. the qbs are good speakers good bass from them but the only downfall with them is the cut out for the speakers is square, so if you want to change them or if they blow your a bit stuck on something else that will fit..
