Looking for a HU to match the look of the e30 interior. I do have a JVC one from my old car but its silver and lights up blue so will look out of place.

I don't tend to play many CD's...just radio + USB stick

Budget is around £100-£130.

I've got a Blaupunkt Hamburg MP68 which will end up either in my current or next E30. Used to have it in my E34. The unit is a bit silvery but fitted in quite well with the E34 dash. You can customise the backlight to pretty much any colour you want in the menu so it will fit in with the amber dash, but the volume knob always stays blue. It does have bluetooth connectivity though for your phone/new iPod googly or a USB input too. Can be had for the top end of your budget off everyones favourite auction site :)

Aye the instant response is to say Becker but they're just a wee bit too expensive for this budget.

A used Traffic Pro or Professional RDS would be an option. Only the question with the USB-Stick has to be solved then.

I picked up my Nakamichi CD-400 for that sort of price. Very OE looking and awesome sound quality.

The last traffic pro I bought (currently doing sterling service in my E36) was about £60. I've got an Online Pro (with a broken laser :( ) that takes memory cards - one of those might be an option if you can find one...

When you're sitting in the car for 4 hours per day - or more!!!!! Or when you've got passengers to entertain!!!

Also gives options for putting a huge amount of MP3's on one disc, if you can put up with mp3 sound quality (or lack of!!).
Freeview tuner is a nice touch too and would give you digital radio as well as tv!
Can also display cameras if that's your thing too!!!
And of course, there are plenty of inputs which could be used for additional items - iphone, minidisc or anything with an output really!!

I seem to spend a fair bit of time on the M25 going nowhere :(
Another time i was thankful of it was when i went SW for a few hours and the road was helpfully closed off!!! Spent over 14 hours in the car!!!!!!!!!! Luckily had a wallet full of dvd's in the boot!!

Still don't really use it a huge amount to be fair - it's only still there until my better quality install goes in - got a proper nakamichi h/u to go in then - and maybe i'll find money for the naka screen one day!!
