As above, i have a good tech 1 wheel but would like to get it re-trimmed in nice new black leather. Does anybody know any where that might do this in the Essex/London area and at what cost?
Cheers

Not sure in that area but suggest you find a saddlery (google / yellow pages). They seem better and cheaper than auto trimmers and can get good tension on the leather
Here is mine done recently:

The new leather is really soft and has a nice texture. I contemplated suede but not very practical due to wear, etc. Coloured stitching (M colours) looks good too

Can I be cheeky and ask what you paid for the retrim - I have an old Jacky Stewart steering wheel I'd like to have retrimmed but the quotes I;ve had have been pretty astronomical!poolnoodle wrote:Not sure in that area but suggest you find a saddlery (google / yellow pages). I shelled out AUS $100 (about 50 quid) but bear in mind the wheel only cost me $25 and a good 2nd hand wheel here will bring $130-$170.
For a similar price I got nice soft, textured new leather
