I have got a decision to make, just wanted peoples opinions.
I am not tooo happy with the paint of my car. It has a dull wavey effect going on from previous respray and the passe ger door is a different shade. Overall the paint looks dull to me.
I have a full fibreglass mtech2 kit on my cabby. It doesn't sit right but a friend who specialises in body work said he can spray the whole car and make the kit fit nice and tight for £1200.
On the other hand, someone is selling the front and rear genuine tech2 bumpers for £300. So I could buy them, get them sprayed for some more cash. Then get the bodyshop to give the car a good mop over to bring some life back into the paint.
Which option would you go for?
Tough decision... Tech2

is the original paint salvagable if the odd coloured door is redone? if it will buff up nice id go for the original tech2 parts that will fit perfectly and fit that.

Personally i would put an original M-tech 2 and then have the odd coloured door redone. I think the fibreglass kit doesnt sit right, especially the door pods!

Yeah I have decided that I will be going for the genuine tech2, getting rid of the replica crap.
ALSO (hopefully) going to go for a full respray aswell.
Should be all under 1500 notes.

Yes I agree mate.
Since I am only getting the bumpers, I am now thinking if I should scrap the fibreglass door pods too. I mean, they don't look tooo bad and with a respray and a fixing the fitting, I could get away without paying crazy prices for increasingly rare sideskirts and door pods.
Otherwise, I'll just scrap it and go for this look... Tech2 with No the door pods

lol
i realised the calypso red on wasn't a tech2 so i took it off...
but the black one is not a mtech2 rear bumper?
Edit: after comparing it with another picture.. its not a tech2.. oops. im still new to the e30 world lol.
but anyway, do you think a cabby can pull it off without door pods or even sideskirts?

Ahem!!! you called!!
My views on tech 2 side skirts are well documented!! they do not belong on a cab

Wiki section is a articxle on fitting tech 2 bumpers, it explains how they go on

I had an m-tech 2 kit fitted and my touring got a full respray at the same time for under 1k, and that included fixing rust on the rear door, replacing a wing and taking the bonnet back to bare metal. If you're in the southeast I can forward you the guys number.
