Badge, Decal or Nowt?

I hate car badges with a passion.
My 320i Touring was de-badged when I got it (and if it wasn't, it would have been....). However.....

Now that the car is in getting sprayed, I'm sort of thinking about having some sort of 320i script on the tailgate. I don't want the factory badges though because they're too "chunky", so that's not an option - the tailgate has to be as smooth as possible.

I've thought about having the factory script copied in mirror finish vinyl. TBH, IF I go for script, this is my preference.

This morning I was following an E90 325i and I noticed that not only is the badge smaller, it's lower profile. Would the E90 (or any model later than E30) 320i badge look right on an E30?

Thoughts please.....
De-badged?
Mirror vinyl?
Later model?

Oh! ....The V.I.N plate and the V5 say 320i so that's what any script has to say. In spite of the car having an M20B27 under the bonnet, I refuse to call it a 327i.

De badged. Or if you have to put a scab on the back, make it original 320i or highly offensive
