I can get an extremely good discount ATM on Plasticoke so I'm opting to use that (together with primer, acid etch etc,) for refurbing my x-spokes. I've decided against polishing the rims and will go for brilliant silver and graphite. I reckon I'll need to apply several coats of lacquer to protect the paint finish. Any ideas about the best to use?
