What is the best stuff to buy to get plastic black side skirts ect back to black?
That back to black spray stuff seems pretty crap. Should I just use matt black spray paint?

The Back to Black gel isnt very good, its too strong and ends up leaving patches ive found. Besides it smells exactly like shoe polish, might give it a try on my shoes sometime
Best ive found is Autoglym Bumper Care, a sorta greenish Gel that restores bumpers and other plastics to black nicely!

Hi all
Having just cleaned the Sport yesterday, without a shodow of a doubt it is a Meguairs product recommended to me by Splondike. I can't remember the name just now but it is available from Halfrauds for about a fiver. It's brilliant stuff, easy to apply and makes your black tirm look like it's been factory finished without the glossy slippery shine of Back to Black.
Like most of you, I too have used Back to Black and it's just too shiny and leaves a slippery surface. Also, it attracts a lot of dust. When I get the car washed by the local Kosovans/Albanians/Romanians etc. I just get them to wash and rinse these days. I do not allow them to spray on the stuff they normally do which is worse than Back to black in that it's sticky to touch and attracts dirt, pollen and anything else in the air.
Hope that helps.

Meguirs Gold Class Trim Detailer - easily the best there is, its very easy to apply and turns even the greyest plastics black again. Have been using it for about three years now. It also last for ages cos you need very little of it to cover a pretty large area. I would clean my car at least once a week and each bottle would last about 6 months!
