Hi all
I finally got round to wiring up my SPR-13 Alpine Comps and for some reason I've got an uneven sound. From the right the mid pumps out a deeper slight bassier sound and the left seems more trebble. At the moment only the mids are connected so I thought prehaps I had the wiring from the Crossover the wrong way round but everthing there is as it should be. I've tested the left speaker on the other crossover and if I do that then it produces the same sound so with that in mind I'm guessing the crossover is knackered. Other than it could be the amp I guess, I'll test that by swapping the amp input to the crossover around.
Before I go down the route of getting another crossover has anyone got any other ideas as to what might be happening to give this uneven sound?
