Yes, i dont have an E30 anymore...however the car that replaced it has a similar interior (dark) and dash light colour scheme.

At the moment ive got the HU that the car came with, its very silver and stands out amongst the understated german blackness around it..and it sounds poo, the 6 good speakers are wasted.

So can anybody recomend a new HU that looks good amongst a black dash/trim setting and factory orange/red instrument lights..

My best effort so far.. (yes, the background lighting is blue :()

I think that Pioneer units look well, the ones with the black faces and and have the ability to select red/orange colour scheme on the screen.

I know the Panasonic model I have is a couple years on but it's served me well and I have no complaints.
