Hi Guys,

Ive just ordered 2x more Keskin KT1s et15, I already have them on the back with et10 on a p/fl e30. 225/45/16s

1)With no spacer on the front the rim is touching the strut but it still spins the wheel fairly freely (have not driven it like this only pushed the car) the tire is just touching to JUST

2)if I can get away with a 3mm spacer ill run with that as its on a 9inch rim and there is very little clearance for the guard on the other side. I NEED to keep the offset as high as possible as im running 225/45/16s

3) With 5mm spacers there is plenty of clearance, I no almost everyone goes down this road but im not keen unless i have to, i want the rear fatter than the front

4)How much minimum clearance would you recommend between the strut and the rim/tire?

Cheers

Shame, the schnitzers looked so 'right'. Understandably though you need a bit more rubber! Sorry I cant help you with your question though :P

What about on full lock??

Hi there!
if u change your front strut from 51mm into 45mm (prefacelift one) and run stretched tyre then you should be ok with et 15 and 9j on the front ;)

cheers

The main problem is with rim, tire will rub itself the space it needs.

I'd say 1,5-2mm is the minimum you've to have between strut and rim. If your front main bearings are old / worn, then they can let the rim touch the strut a bit but it won't do anything else than small marks on the strut so no big worries there.

I had 16x9 ET15 rims on my car without spacers and they worked very well if i remember correctly. 3mm spacer should be more than enough, otherwise your arches will be in danger :)

Yes, but that's really bad option. No idea whatsoever to put worse dampers & springs to your car.

Depend's on the alloy width you are going for. 9J is ET15 i believe :)

I had fitted 17x7.5J alloys fitted and ran a 3mm spacer without any issues :) Ideally you want at least a 10-15mm spacer 8)

Awesome thanks for your advice Josku, I'm a massive fan of your car and advice :) I might machine my 5mm ones down to 3mm. Should looks sweet
ill be running 7mm ones in the back so should look fairly even. I have adj camber plates to so that helps

Cheers
