Have you connected the wiring up at both ends? the wiring is in the door to connect to the pods but needs to be traced back to behind the front speakers and connected there too?

They need conecting behind the foot well speakers, and small caps attatching to the live feeds of them or they will blow.

Just get a AA battery ad touch the pod wires either side, you'll hear a scratching sound if they work.Easy

as said the wireing that is behined where mirrors is not connected up, just trace the wires down and connect them, although will you not need a set of crossovers for them to work properly :?

They were ment to be fitted with the bmw premium speaker upgrade with cross overs built in,thats why the connectors in the kick wells behind the speakers dont look like they are ment to connect together as in between them should be the uprated speakers.

Yes get a crossover to run them.

When you connect them to the wiring behind the wing mirror, the wire changes as it goes through the door plug. The tweeters aren't that great anyway and can be upgraded by removing old tweeters and adding new ones - mine were like this when I bought from ebay (lucky me).

Give me a shout if you are have any problems getting them working.
