New steering wheel

I'm wanting to replace my standard steering wheel with an m tech 2 version, i've found loads on ebay but not sure if they're compatible.

One that i've seen is advertised as fitting e28, e30 and e34 models but i'm not sure if this is true, it was originally fitted on an e34 (M5)

Can anyone help?

e34 non airbag steering wheels will fit e30s and e36 steering will not fit
