Mad looking interior!?
Moderator: martauto
I just stumbled across a 1.8is for sale and the interior is certainly unusual.
Anyone seen this before??

I have seen a couple of red 318iS in Dublin with this interior
(one had the ugly digital clock + blaupunkt stereo + flat battery, the other had 17" alpina replicas... don't know why I remember this ...! )
I think it might have been called M Tec 2 or M Tec 3 interior - though I'm open to correction on this

mrlee
certainly stood out didnt they
The sad thing is that in ten years, when most polos have rusted away, it'll be these "special editions" that command higher prices and people will spend vast amounts restoring them... I predict there will be a constant flow of "genuine" harlequins flowing out of Birmingham at some point

I always called them benneton cars, glad I am not the only one who got that idea from somewhere then.Wasn't that a United Colours of Benneton limited edition????
I read they were sold with the idea of driving schools buying them. The idea being when the student prangs them you buy any colour panel since it doesnt matter what colour goes on there is no colour matching. Didnt really catch on though! They actually sold that car

Reminds me of those little paper bags you used to get from sweet shops.
