sound problems

my radio is being funny, the sound is very quite when the balance and fader are set to zero, when i turn the balance up left or right, all of a sudden the sound blasts out..strange

now that would be fine but every time i turn the radio off the balance goes back to zero and i have to do it again!! arghhh

any ideas?

sounds like the speakers are connected wrongly

yea but i dont understand because they turn on wether i go left or right, know any audio experts in newcastle.

Could be a fault in the head unit - but it's a bit strange!!!!

Does it sound the same, whichever way you go on the balance?? i.e. is left as loud and clear as right??
