Hi Guys,

Interested in putting in some classy footwell lights with an open door activation. Not the neon type.

Can anyone point me in the right direction. :(

Does anyone know if I could use footwell lights from the later 3 series BMWs?

Thanks fellas.

Anyone know anything on how to install tasteful footwell dimmer lights.

Possible bridging from the interior light and any info on the colour of wires...

any help would be great. :)

I dont know much about it, but it cant be too hard. At the very least, free bump. Why not try posting this in tech help instead.

Surely you could just wire them in with the existing interior lights??

Wasn't someone on here selling or making dimmers or delays or something for the interior lights??

Would be good if even the standard interior lights would stay on for a few seconds after the doors are shut!!

Why not get some lights from halfords and they will be easily wired to the interior lights.

You are correct, a bloke was selling relays for the accessories socket. Not seen or heard from him for a long time though! Thats what I meant about being simple, a couple of interior lights wired into the door switches and a cut away on the left and right side of the centre console.

Actually, might do this myself!
