I purchased a LHD heater panel to enable me to install my motorised DVD player into my 4door without having to cut the indicator stalk (have OBC), but it doesn't seem to fit.

There are quite a few little things that stop it from fitting.

Also the wiring for the OBC seems wrapped up too tight, and there is a single blue wire going from the OBC loom towards the glovebox, and this will be in the way of where the head-unit would go!

Just spent a few hours removing the normal one and trying to fit the new one, but gave up and put the original back in now.

Has anyone actually been able to get this fitted, and if so any pics, and tips on how you made it work?

Heater control panel is the same size LHD/RHD so will fit into the dash mount. The OBC unit,as it is moved several inches to the right may well need it's loom adapting to fit.Just be a matter of unwrapping the loom a little to give the wires a bit more freedom....or even splicing in a little more cable.

I fitted a LHD panel in Benjys touring.
No OBC in his car but as above just loosen the OBC loom to gain some slack,we had to extend the anologue clock wires on his.
Only other thing was the holes for the top screws(the tiny ones) didnt line up but just screw them in to create new ones.
Job done :D
