Well, everything is possible
Here's one pic of my cabrio, about 60mm clearance at the front. (280mm from the center of the wheel to the wheel arch in the rear and in the back, 215/35-245/35 rubber). Fully adjustable suspension setup (made by me).

i had 80mm drop on mine with 17" alpina's , but wen i sold them i put chepo 14" rims on and it makes it over the bumps at 10mph , any faster will have ripped the front lip off. but as above 60mm looks sweet.

While everything may indeed be possible, your car may become virtually un-drivable on UK roads. Speed bumps and pot-holes can have a jarring effect upon you and a catastrophic effect upon the car's oil sump. Add to this the excessive, inequal wear on your tyres due to aggravated camber angle and you'll be left with a boulevard cruiser that you might think looks cool as fook, but will not be good to drive. It's up to you in the end, but really slamming an E30 takes it from being old school cool to chav-style kewl

why not get air bags ,lol so you can park your car and deck it to the floor(80mm +) and then drive it at around (30mm dropped) best of both i say.

You wouldn't be able to drive the car fully decked without damaging something, only when parked up or stationery should the car be fully slammed

Well you could always raise the engine but I don't know if you can go very far until the prop hits the gear linkage.

Not worth the hassle in trying to raise the engine, you probably wouldn't be able to close the bonnet

the most thats possible is maybe 0.5 -1 inch not worth the hassle , well my e30 sitting on 80mm springs on the front and 60 rear on 14" rims with like 50 or 60 profile tyre and the stump sits about 1.5" and drops to 1" wen sum one sitts in it so nearly 95mm! decked and drivable. and no damage been nearly a 1yr. but now the rear of the car is sitting on bump stops and its god dam low , but i like the negtive camber tho.

lol speeds humps i can just about get over there every were. the car got no shocks or springs on the rear, sitting on the bump stops as iam breaking it £200 for the lot. but wen it had 60mm springs at the rear it can easy get over the bumps.

Yeah, that's true and that's why i've adjustable camber and toe both in the front and in the back.DavieP wrote:While everything may indeed be possible, your car may become virtually un-drivable on UK roads. No idea putting only -100mm springs because then your car will be quite bad to drive..

if you want to go realy low then get in touch with rayvern hydraulics in guyhirn near wisbech in cambs as they do air bags & hydraulics & are probably one of the best companys in this country to do the work.
i think they are in the current issue of performance bmw mag so have a look in there or max power mag or fast car & redline magazines as i'm sure there should be an advert for them.
good luck with your search.
