I've never - yet - had my instrument panel apart. Do the illumination bulbs have coloured shields over them to make them shine red?
I'm sort of wondering about changing the colour - if it's possible.

the bulbs do have a orange cap over them and can be changed for different colours but it wouldnt work that well as there is a plastic formed piece that transmits the light to the front of the dials also. so there will always be a orange glow. unless you can form new clear plastic that is. hlh clive
