removing rear seats - want to get this done :(

Hi guys, got my sub in and it works, but the remote wire already running through the car has a break in it somewhere

I want to run another wire tonight as I just want this little job done and out the way.

I have never removed the rear seats from my e30 before, and have got the bench off easily, but I cant seem to remove the rear back rest and searching the zone hasnt turned up anything.

help pleeeeease

in the bottom corners of the rear seat, there is a metal strap with a 10mm bolt going through it. undo them (one on each side) and lift the seat back up

its madness its like a drug. i installed a better system (1x15" jbl gt4-15) in my sister's mk4 golf with a monster 4ch 2000watt renagrade amp. the bass is insane compared the mini system i put in before (1x12" sony explode + 450 watt kenwood monoblock) which was lould but this is other level , cant wait get my mk2 golf and my orions

I never actually had it before, just had the cables running through the car lol. Guess the guy before me had a sub, or was going to have a sub as im pretty sure it wasnt me that broke the remote wire.

It is like a drug though, I have a v nice home stereo and cant live without the bass!! atleast for certain types of music.

i knw i think it kinda rub off me and on to my dad just got some lovely "sonlab" tower's 2x10 ,1x4" , 1x3" soft dome 2x4" ports about 6inch long in each tower there like 4.5 feet tall and weight a ton!
