Sorry if this has been posted before but ive recently purchased an old chromie in lovely condition. Its a D plate and has no hole for the aerial! Obviously it would be stupid to drill the wing,. I was wondering how anyone else has got past this problem. Ive seen the ones that you can stick on the inside of the rear screen which look very tidy but are they any good?

why would it be stupid to drill the wing if not done by gorilla. all e30 saloons (and cabs?) have the aerial on the ns rear wing. if you buy a stick on aerial you wont get as good a signal as a conventional mast type or a whip aerial that some cabs and compacts have

Fancy selling it back to me
One of the best options is to the fit the aerial into one of the a pillars, I think it's a bit of a no no to start drilling holes to fit the aerial.
I think Halfrauds do a stick on aerial to the rear window or maybe go down the DAB route?
BTW - the car came standard out of the factory without the radio, hence the lack of rear aerial! The previous owner from me fitted the rear speakers and the stereo and I fitted the fronts (with wires)
BTW Hope all's going well and all the best

Previously owned loads of old E30s, E34s, a few E36s, E32s, E39s and an E38.
Currently in a diesel Audi - miss me old E30's....
