Hi people

I wanna change the rear lights on my cab, at the moment I've got a set with the reverse light running vertically down the side instead what I want is the set where the reverse light runs horizontally, I believe these are off the later E30's.

My Cab is a 325 H reg, can I get any rear lights i.e off a Coupe, Saloon and off any year?????

There is something else as it goes, Clocks, same things any year and model?

As always guys and girls thanks for the help. WORD UP!!!

The later lights do not fit your car as they are larger.

They can be made to fit as far as i'm aware but it would never be as good as it should be and would always be a bodge! Would prob end up letting water in your boot...

I've got post-f/l rear light on my pre-f/l car. They don't leak.

I think he had the most trouble getting the previous facelift ones out that had been butchered in by the previous owner to be honest as the cab would have had pre-f/l rears in originally. It was probably all done at the same time as the tech-II kit to be honest.

But if I know Dan, he'll have made sure that he put the tinted ones in as best he could. You might be alright.

Is it possible to get aftermarket lights that look like facelift ones, but fit the chomies?

They're well fitted, but rust exists...

They're imports from Germany, but I'm not sure on the make.

Those are pretty rare ones, but if you're not too fussy about the style, you can ask in the "Wanted - Parts & Cars" section of this forum, and I'm sure there will be plenty of people who can offer you a variety of rear lights at very good second-hand prices. There's also eBay. If you are fussy, (I know I am) I'll find out the exact make/model/supplier of these lights for you.

I'd guess that the rear panel has been cut to fit the larger lights and not rust proofed correctly, if at all

Bingo!
I'm going to get it fixed this winter. Weirdly, the other light is fine.
