i compete in iasca sound quality competitions, pro division
is there any e30 zoners that compete in iasca sound quality?

i wasent in SQ , but SPL with 2 x w12 gti 's in custom -S port box off an Orion 2500D , sounded the nuts!

I have only done one spl with a single 15" alpine with a magnet 1400w mono block and hit 136.3db not bad for first try

Never competed and don't really plan on it - but i do like quality as well as volume!!!!

Have used quite a bit of DLS, Orion & JL stuff in my time, to good effect!!

Never had a 'proper' install in a E30 yet, but it's coming next year!!!

I have 90% of what i need now - Nakamichi H/U - DLS 3 ways - DLS amp - JL 13W7 - JL amp!!!!!!

Details will be revealed as it goes in!!!

It's one of the MB jobbies that holds 6 discs in a single din unit - and the amp can be removed, so it's effectively just a dac and pre-amp!!

I want an IN-DV7 though - but i'm all out of money and couldn't seem to get hold of one when i had the cash!!

Got quite a rare sony h/u in at the mo, with a flip out screen - but i don't like the sound quality - it's pants compared to the naka!!!

Where is this i might be interested. Am running a Pioneer X3BT tv, 2 Pioneer SPL 2x3000 watts, Componants Up front and back and 2 Direct D2400. Also got a sealed box as i care for the sound quailty. Will get these installed over by next week and they should ROCKKK

Lovely unit for an average streetbass install with dvd's etc!!!!

I use a Nakamichi RD-701 H/U but have a TP1200 Limited Edition now waiting to go in. Just a tuner unit witha seperate HUGE Pre Amp!

Never seen a INDV7 in action.

rial_e30 i hope you didnt pay to much for the subs as there not spl subs. Pioneer have only made two spl subs which are TS-W5102SPL (12" 6kwatts) and TS-W8102SPL (15" 8Kwatts) i take it you got the TS-W3001D4 which are only £100 retail and £65 in trade.
