None of them lol, being that one 6x9 is the same as any other 6"x9" lol

The only speakers you will get in the rear without cutting or ugly spacers is 5" :D
Wanted: Any old component speakers, complete or separate parts, let me know what you got :D

you can raise them with proper spacers, or you might be able to use 5x7's or 6x8s which are basically smaller versions of 6x9's and produce more bass that normal 6 inch speakers, these are found in mazdas and fords and aftermarket versions can be baught too :D

just thought tho they might fall throught the gap if they have had 6x9s fitted my guess would be they had spacers fitted which is the proper way of doing it :D

This car has them on the rear shelf.

It is recommended by audio buffs that the shelf should be reinforced somehow or that a special acoustic shelf is used to provide a solid mounting for fitting 6X9s , without cutting metal .

I have the EXACT same problem. The lad who previously owned it has butchered the rear shelf and left some wopping holes and some GASH shit by 9's but they dont fit so they are just resting on the hole stuck to the rear panel with the magnet.

I too don't fancy cutting metal, I was thinking of spacers but it would look dog.

Hmmmm how about cutting metal, then replacing what's been cut but with something deeper?

Would be a bit too much hassle though I suppose though lol.

Also what size are the front door speakers?

Cheers

my shelf had been half butchered, i cut out the rest needed to fit 6x9's , cut out mdf the same size as the rear shelf , screwed the shelf onto the mdf then onto the car shelf, it's got loads of base and feels tighter at the rear of the car as if i had put in a strut brace. i'm using infinity speakers , ill get pics up asap

mdf rings work depends on 6x9 as i had a set of jvc one and were quite slim and only need a 15mm spacer , but wen i changed them i desided to go all out and fit the most powerful 6x9 i can get which turns out to be a 3way 1000watts 6x9 by Boschman Image,(they dont look good , but sounded insane) they had sum weight to them aswell as being 6" deep no spacer will help, i just cut the metal shelf , it took 2 mins with a jig saw with a metal blade. the back shelf was still strong as ever as it has the whole back seat rest as surpport.
