Just curious to know, if removing the strips & then filling them up would effect anything...???
Has it been done etc.. i think they look terrible!!! and want to get rid of them.. any ideas people!!!

Always wondered what people do when they colour code their hardtops, do they keep the strips or remove them.

Ive seen them colour coded... and they dont sit right!!! and you see the allen bolts not nice!

I guess the only function they serve is to direct some of the rain water down over the back screen, although it doesn't seem to be doing a good job on mine.
Mine is colour coded and the allen bolts have gone rusty. I'm now trying to find somewhere to spray it so when I get it done I'll also get some new allen bolts and get them chromed.

they made a roofrack for the hardtop. thats what the allen bolts are for.

My cars going to be white... so the black trim wouldnt look right.. ive decided to flush them for the look i want!
