Where is a good place to pick up some quality speaker/amp etc cabling?

Ie good quality at good prices?

What is the recommended thicknesses for speakers and amps?

(I am thick as shit when it comes to ICE)

:)

For speaker cable, head down to your local car audio specialists(NOT Halfrauds)

I am looking to run a single 4 channel amp, with some decent quality speakers.. Not looking for volume, looking for quality :)

id get some 4gauage cable to be honest for the powersupply of the amp as its a better quality battery cable and allows better supply to the amp. Im guessing u have a rear battery convo too??

also id go with a 4gauge earth again a better quality of cable reasons

RCA's to connect the amp to the HU need to be shield as ur get some kick back same as the spreaker cabling needs to be good quality too, the remote wire from the HU down the oppersite side of the car from the RCA to ensure no interferance

i highly recormend Hertz speakers, Hertzs gear is the clearest i have used so far i also have pointed a few zoners who have rated them to Hertzs also produce there own amps again im running one and its cracking

How does their range work? what is top of and what it bottom of?!

I have the battery in the engine bay still, although I guess whilst I have the car apart I would relocate it..

Should I run RCA's and speaker cabling down opposite sides of the car?

Remote wire? :o:

ill get the link for the herz gear for ya buddy

The only reason why i asked about the bat in the boot was due to the fact 4gauage aint cheap and i know i need 5meters for the cabby from bonnet to boot, if u have ur bat in th eboot ur saving urself some money

i run speaker cable and rca's together with no problems and have had no issues

Remote wire is a cable from the back of the HU to the amp that tells the amp to turn on when u turn the HU on, its only a thin bell wire style which uses a few volts like a eletric ariel start up wire
