on my 325i touring, i wanna convert the front headlights so all 4 come on with side lights and all 4 come on as dipped. i plan to then hide some lights behind the grilles for the main beem lights.
has anyone done this before?
i will be wiring them all in the correct way using relays before anyone wonders...
headlight conversion - not the usual...

I think you might have made a typo there. What are you doing for full beam?

I opened this thread hoping to see some pop-ups. Anyway, presumably this can be done with an E30. I've seen it done on an old Alfa Romeo, the lights used were from an old Sierra (this kind) - problems you'll run into will be blocking off air flow to the radiator, and the slats of the grill will polarise the light, so that the beam doesn't flood fill the area in front of the car. You might also get problems with the amount of space, but those Sierra lights are apparently a good size and shape to do it with.
