what size speakers go in a 318IS tech 2, doubt theres any difference

front and rear please, also is it hassle to take old ones out, i.e. removing trim, dont want to damage anything

5.25" / 13cm all round - dead easy to remove/replace/refit speakers, the hardest one is the nearside where you have to remove the bonnet release switch and that isn't exactly hard winkeye
Previously owned loads of old E30s, E34s, a few E36s, E32s, E39s and an E38.

Currently in a diesel Audi - miss me old E30's....

get some good quality components to back in with tey sound much better imo

thanks for advice guys

not after anything brilliant just something so that when i turn the music up a little is isnt really hollow base or crackley because the speakers are currently poo :d

get some components in the front also amp them and have a sub in the back. setup would sound sexy then. no point having speakers in the rear if your going to have a sub cos the sub would drown the rear speakers. plus just grill the rear speaker holes so air can get through them from the sub. would sound proper good. :cool:

ive got some infinities and they sound mint but they sounded crap without an amp

imo 'infinities' are good , i've got 'focals' they sound good they are amped too
