trouble with stereo

having a little trouble with stereo in my e30

when i got the car the stereo would come on as soon as i put the fascia in, so i tried to sort it out by switching the red and yellow, beings stupid i left the ignition on and it sparked.

I thought id blown a fuse but i've checked them all and there all fine. I've used my multimeter on the wiring, there is only a perminant feed going to the stereo, no ignition feed...

Im not sure if there was but i've blown it or wether there never was?

the stereo will not turn on and i've tried a different stereo and that does not work either so its not the stereo.

Ive thought about taking an ignition feed from somewhere else?

have you checked all the fuses my mate had the same problem he blew a couple of fuses its was number 28 just a thought buddy

had it sorte now, was a dead short. Was causing my speedo not to work, done now
