Best thing to do as I am doing with mine slowlyԚ…Ԛ….. Is take bits off and get them chromed/polished/painted/powder coated,

Use Gunk to de-grease entire engine bay (Bag up electrics)
Polish all the paint work
Zip tie bulk cables together/or out of the way

And sameco hoses I think if you can buy lengths of it from them in various sizes, and they can copy them if you have a particular one with a T piece or something

Hope this helps

firstly clean and polish the paintwork where possible, treat and rust and paint.

use bmw dealer for the pipes and clips they are pretty cheap for small clips and things

choose some enamel paint and do some detailing here and there it makes all the difference.

i think ( if i remember right ) that you can get paint specifically for rubber, that is the stuff you need for the hoses. it ends up like a rubber coating on the hose's.

enamel based would crack i think if the hoses moved :?

You can buy covers for hoses, my friend had all the non-samco hoses in his R5 turbo covered with this weave design that made them look like anodysed braided hoses, very trick and a lot cheaper than the real thing. I believe he got the kit from demon tweeks.

The problem with Samcos is that they have to be the correct form for your car, if you bend them the hoses squash and collapse on the bend and restrict the flow to the point of exit.
