Rim size comparison

Hi, i've been discussing with a friend on what rim size is ideal for an e30.
His preference goes to 16" with a low profile tire with a 60/40 drop, perhaps even 15".
Mine is more in the area of 16" with a decent profile heigt, maybe even 17" with a lower profile, and a drop in the region of 40/20 or 35/20 or something like that.

Only problem is that it's hard to find picture's of cars with diffirent sized rims and diffirent drops, side by side.

So here's my request, if u would be so kind:
Post a side view of your car and list the size of the rim and profile height of the tire + the drop you have.

Me and my buddy would be extremely thankfull.

Hmmh, i can start. 215/35 + 245/35 rubber, drop ~100/80mm (280mm from wheel center to arch in the front and in the rear), about 65mm clearance at the front spoiler. Arches rolled quite heavily, no rubbing whatsoever.

hello mate, my car on the right has 17" rims with 205/40 and a 40mm drop, my mates car on the left has 16" rims with 205/50 and 225/40 with 25mm drop i think
