No its not another thread about M-Tech badges.
Just been wondering about putting either a 325i or just 2.5 badge on the front grill. Has anybody done this, I can't decide if it will look tacky or not.

I only thought about it because of the e21 323i having it

I personally think it makes the front cluttered, and a little busy for my personal liking.

I used to like this on my old e21 323i, not sure about on an e30 though.
Saying that i have seen a zoners car/ring weapon with a 335i badge on, Jimcameron i think it was, didnt look too offensive iirc.

I suppose the 335i could be justified because of the 3.5 in it, you would want to shout about what's under the bonnet whereas a 325 hasn't really got anything to flaunt like that.
I've scrapped the idea for mine and just ordered a German flag. I'd still be interested in seeing the 325 badge on an e30 though just as a comparison to how it looks on the e21.

Yes plates are pressed alloy.
No trouble with having the D on them yet.
Yes I painted the blue part of the badge red.

I had a 323 one on the front of mine.
I will be putting it back on when the car is finished.

I had no problems at all. Put the order in through the website and the badges turned up a few days later.Emm3 wrote:Any issues ordering these from the states?
