Sure look good dude
Do you have any problems like kerbing etc?
Also what's the ride like with those streched tyres? Is it more comfortable than 205/40/17's?

i had 17" alpinas on before tyre size215/45/17 and the rims i have on now with tyres 215/40/16 is a lot more smoother ride! doesnt bump or bang about, handles the road like fook, even in the wet you can tell its better because of the big wide rim

Well that was the answer I was looking for!
The reason I ask is because I thought you might loose some smoothness of going to a smaller wheel size with the tyres being so stretched.

no mate.... i would deffo say it was smoother with these smaller 16's i have the 17's were only7.5J and the 16's i have are the 9J so it might be a case of the wider rims taking a little bit more to rattle than a smaller rim?
deffo smoother though with these 9Jx16 mate

Ok, one last question before I go out and get some new wide wheels.
Do you have any problem with the steering feel or any other kind of problems with having 9J as the front wheels.
I've still not decided if i'm going 7.5J or 9J on the front. I've been told 7.5J should be better for fast road driving.

its "suppose" to make the steering a lot heavier, but it doesnt.... if you ask me it feels like you have more controll over your car and it points and go's where you want it to! "fast road" driving? how fast? i give my touring the lead foot treatment sometimes but i dont actually race it at all, if you mean when you are on the motorway etc.... like doing 100mph here and there you'll be fine mate i took mine up to 120mph the day i put the tyres and rims on and it felt very responsive feeling, not bumpy, not banging like the 17's did.... it feels like i have suspension again now! 9J are no problem on the front! just make sure you get the 10mm spacers to push them away from the front struts

think thats just you fella
you dont wanna be doing that all the time you'll fcuk your engine....... i prefere the more swarvey and crawling driving... give you chance to show off you e30 a bit more than one zipping past you... everyone knows how quick 325's are, it needs to be proved to no one at all.............. dont get me wrong, when the chavvy little boy racers get up my arse and try to play in their pi$$y littl saxo's, i just take um to school fella... foot down and they dissapear
i dont drive like this though all the time as i respect my car way too much to thrash her about, she's an old girl and that how i treat her

I don't really drive this car at the limit. I used to in my old E46 which was good for an indicated 150mph.
Back on the subject of wheels, and i've just seen this mad man running 9x16's front and 10x17's rear with 215/40/16's and 245/35/17's

if you go Tech 2 then thats gonna look really cool, but i always liked your touring because of your choice in Breyton front and rear spoilers. Those are very very cool.

breytons are cool but IMO you cant beat the sheer class style of a solid m-tech2 kitted touring

Hmmm, I dunno. Think that it looks perfectly good as it is. mtec2 could look cool though.
