and GTFO with the caps all the time, jesus.
Seriosuly, from the chavvy sick be 9's and the flashing sig, and the rediculous comments about speakers.
I have come to the conclusion.
CHAV.
NO KISSES lol
Bigredbmw: Perhaps you shouldnt have so much faith in what you are being told by your mate, i dont mean to sound cocky but i studied (and passed) Audio Engineering at college and i can tell you he's talking rubbish
He won't comment on this thread but instead has chosen to sit and laugh to himself.

i am deffo no chav, and i have 6x9's in the back shelf, the comment about all you need is components, well i have focal components, and they didn't sound as good imo.
i'm using infinity 6x9 in a shelf i made. x2 components in the front, and 10" sub in the boot

Nope 6x9's can be very good, if theyre being used with a sub they need a HPF to stop the bass interfering with the subs, if they are on theyre own with front conponents/co-axials, they can fill the car with substantial enough quality sound for some peopleAlbinojay wrote:Wow.

My set up uses a collection from the budget end of the range, but I like it at it's current stage.
140w (70rms) Sony 5 1/4
400w (100rms) Kenwood 6x9's
3,000w (1,500rms) 12" Pioneer Subwoofer
4000w (900rms @ 2ohm) "TheLoudest" Class-D Amplifier
I think I spent a bit too much money on the subwoofer section as now the bass at full volume interferes with the midrange somewhat. And also really upsets my alternator and battery.
I've got a 140amp alternator from a m60b30 and I'm trying to fit it to my m40b16 but every time I lift the bonnet it seems the past few weeks it either rains or snows!!!

You got them 6.5's in yet cliffy - amongst all the arguments!!!!
You know you don't want any speakers in the back really bro!!!!!! Just a quality front end and a nice sub!!!!!
Either that or lose your rear seats and do it properly!!!! Lol!!
You know i'm gonna be sticking bigger stuff up front in mine
