just had a look at that link & it show's the M-tech 1 side skirts as still being madeGovR wrote:Kman82 - No probz!
Lol@the price of the fitting kit........no chance was i paying £400 for clips and grommets haha.
I only ordered the stuff I needed which to be honest wasnt alot....
For the side skirt i ordered 'part 6 - Clamp' from the following illustration...
http://bmwfans.info/parts/catalog/E30/C ... technic-2/
I used 6 or 7 for each skirt....Check how many slots there are on the sideskirt to make sure (in the picture you can only see 2)
Then either order part 7 or use self tappers for the 2 holes which go onto the front wing.

You dont? To be honest where is the skirt going to go? Its not going to flap off in the wind that it needs a million clamps to hold in place.Yes I know what's in the way as I've testfitted the hardtop skirts to cabrio. How do you attach the bottom part of the skirt to the body?
Indeed it is a completely different thing......starting off with the right sideskirts would be a bonus...but with it being hard to find parts for cabs or coupe's - you have to make do with what you can find and get? btw i didnt use "big enough screws" - sikaflex works a treatI also know you can fit "any body kit" to the cabrio with "big enough screws", but to do it properly is completely different thing.
Il take one when im next working on the car and when it stops raining....... and a pic showing the underside, please.

Cheap-ass fitted skirts / bodykit is something I would not recommend anybody doing, but each to their own.
