iam thinking you might be able to fit an 15" sub with off shelf box as if you lay it on it back its only 15.5" high say about 16.5" with sub at a full x-max. if so then 2x15" in an e30 will pull it apart , did an vaxhall astra with 4 x 15" that car was a death trap on wheels, it was like the national grid in the boot!

It would rattle like mad though, wouldn't it?
Aceraf on here had 4 x 15" vibe subs in his nissan sunny (pulsar shape). That was awesome, you could hear him a mile away

3.40cuft with 3/4 mdf , looks like you going to be running 10" subs.

3 inch wide by 15.5 inchs deep = 35hz
3 inch wide by 7.1 inchs deep = 45hz

box design will be up in a few mins

lol , hz= hertz (is a measure of frequency, defined as the number of cycles occurring per second. frequency of 1 Hz is equal to one cycle per second.) in layman's terms sealed box will be tight and punchy bass , ported box will get loulder as it get near its tunning fq (hz) and will need less power to get same output from a sealed box. higher the fq of the box the less musical it gets.

street bass = 25 - 45hz(great for music , not good for spl) Spl bass = 45-70hz (poor for normal listening of music)

the port width is 3inches from the inside.

no this will be a normal rectangle box , as showen in the pic , if you go with a angled front face then you will have to have the bottem of the box longer then the top and cut at 45 dergees. the plate in teh middel is your PORT aka vent , this will help get the most out of your subs and amp.

amp wise the vibe slick will take these subs on with ease..

"dazleeds" if you want to sell the 15" jbl let me knw and its in good shape may do a nice install in my sister's car ,lol , as mine i had to take the cone off had to replace the leads to the coil. so at the mo iam running 2 x10" splx subs 400watts peak and 150rms in a bandpass box and its loud but not as deep as the 15.

"ImysE30" no probs mate , just go to B&Q and tell them to cut it for you , and u will have a flat pack sub box , pick up sum stong wood gule put it on each joint with screws (drill the hole in the wood with a 1.5/2mm drill bit). i will get sum pic's of a box build i did for my mates 306 even a video if iam kind ,lol.
