in car dvd player control

hi guys iv put in a dvd player in my car with the 7` screen.problem is that the control wont work.is there a wire tat needs to be conetted to work or wot

what do you mean by control? Do you mean remote control? more details of the item in question would help aswell.

hi yes its the remote control thats not working

Have you checked the batteries? Have you remove the plastic 'tab' that most of them have stopping the batteries draining during storage.

Also have you tried pointing it directly at the IR receiver?

got it working now.i took the cover off the remote control and there was loads of dust in ther so i blow it out and all works good
