Are you referring to the normal speaker slots in the rears, next to the passenger seats ?

If so, then I suspect it might be a nightmare of a job.

I had to fit in standard 5 1/4 (13cm) and the depth of the speaker was just a little more than the older ones, and it took me a lot of painful and frustrating pushing, pulling, squeezing, etc before I managed to get them in.

Quite frankly, if you get GOOD quality 13cm speakers for the rear, with good component speakers for the fronts and run them off a good 4-channel amp and a good head unit, AND make sure you use proper quality cabling all around, you can actually make someone deaf with the sound.

I had a really good setup in my car.

And I proved a few people wrong about their claims that you need subs in a convertible !

Nope. Good wiring, done correctly, and good equipment will do the job without your car looking like a tart-mobile of some sort.

At the end of the day, it's your choice, but I hope this info helps you in making an informed decision.
