Im sure this is on here somewhere ese but ill ask anyway...

What size are the footwell speakers? I blew mine t'other day and need some new ones. Any for sale, or suggestions???

Looking for fairly decent ones and unsure if i should get all four or just stick with the front two.

rusty

we can all recommend our favoutite speakers to you but it doesn't help you at all, it's your ears to be pleased not ours. you really need to decide on your budget and take some of your own typical and well recorded music into a dealers and listen to as many different speakers as possible. if they sound good to you then they are good. listen to your ears and not anyone elses opinion.

it's a very simple job to swap footwell speakers over - a really good dealer will fit some different speakers in your car for you - you then hear them with the rest of your setup.

Cheers Guys,

I went for some pioneers and some 6x9s which wont fit anywhere but were half price JBL. The music i listened to is so varied that i have to change the player settings alll the time.

If i make a small MDF box for 2 6x9s in my boot will it sound all right? Probably a bit quiet (saloon)?

I dont want to drill my shelf!

Dude 6x9's don't want to be in boxes, they need to be on the shelf! I don't think you would hear anything if you put them in the boot. I've heard of adapters being avalible to put the 6x9's in the shelf without cutting the metal.
If you wanna put something in a box use a subwoofer (thats what there made for).
If cash is abit tight buy a cheap 15 inch sub, or some thing like a jl audio 15 inch of ebay for Ԛ£100.
