Kenwood KVT M707 head unit upgrades

Hey Guys...

I have this head unit which I bought brand new over 8 years ago for my e30...was top of the line back then but never got round to fitting it coz car was never finished. Now the car is finally getting round to being finished and technology has come a long way...

So my question is...does anyone know if I can upgrade the use of this head unit I.e screen mirroring Bluetooth for phone as well as audio...ability to use nav apps like Waze etc...
Is it possible for these kind of mods..would the cost be alot...or should I just bite the bullet and go for a new head unit...like the android ones I've seen on the market...
Any suggestions on speakers too

Might be easier just to get a newer unit as prices have come down and the cost to upgrade the unit if at all possible may be cost prohibitive. Do you need a slide out screen as just go for a single DIN with BT and use your phone as a Sat Nav?

Speaker wise I am happy with my Ground Zero's.

Thanks for the reply ...yeah been researching for bits for the head unit...as didn't want to let it go to waste..managed to get the iPod wire which I can connect a Bluetooth adapter to and stream music and maybe able to screen mirror the phone somehow...

As for speakers will look into ground zero ones..
