e36 is front seats into e30??

has anyone ever been successfull in transplanting e36 is seats into and e30?? will they even fit? thanx for your help

e36 do go in but you will have to chage the method of fixing them to your car

i have e46 seats in mine

Jordan Sarette has done this

I was told to knock the current studs out, drill holes for the new studs while minding for fuel lines etc, and simply use nuts and bolts to hold the new ones down; obviously using the right size

hows the clearence between the seat and door though to adjust the seat or are the seats more or less the same width

someone on the zone has done this very mod. if memory serves it was an american guy with either a beige car or beige interior. a search back through the threads will help you out...

here is some e36 seats in an e30 from the booty mobile, got two for sale but i wont mention that as they are not e30 related.
