Original Factory Fitted Headunit

I recently removed my original head unit because it was about 100 years old with a cassette tape player, but in behind was what I'm assuming the factory 20 year old wiring. All the wires going into the back of the head unit were brown with individual pins.
Does anyone know the specific adapter I will need so it it able to fit a more up to date head unit.

What you have removed is now considered desirable, so don't bin it.
Radio wiring comes from a plugged in loom on the accessories socket behind the glove box. Aftermarket leads are available with a plug to fit the accessories socket on one end and a modern plug on the other.

Lucky I put it aside on a shelf and didn't bin it then!
I think I'm just going to have to do a bit of research and I have a mate who's pretty screwed on with car electrics and stuff, so were just going to have to spend some time looking at.

I've just seen a Blaupunk Toronto SQR48 on FleaBay for £500 !!
Mines in my garage playing cassettes and getting dusty.

I hope you didn't bin it.
