Size is 5.25"

You need to watch the mounting depths

Quality wise, there's lots out there, for sure Id be looking a components for the front

Got a budget in mind ?

Not true.. To meet the size and mounting depth requirements for front speakers, the quality available is very poor!

while i did say watch the mounting depth to you, that doesnt change the fact that there are 100;s of 5.25" coax and components speakers available and many will fit

i'd put these in the front

Do we know what mounting depth us available???
If not, I might have a measure up at the weekend!!!

I've always ignored the mounting depth and never had anything not fit yet - but I've prob been lucky!!!

Had a play with my system the other day and with the 13W7 set low on the gain, I need something loud up front to work with it!!!

Wasn't even considering buying more speakers but am now tempted by these jbl's - although I suspect this could be when I meet the mounting depth issue!!!

For a quality sound, I've always loved dls components!!!
You'll want to put a bit of time & effort into the installation too - I've never had any speakers fit properly in the front of an e30!!! Always seems to be a bit of a gap, at least some of the way, around the speaker!!!

I recently went through 3 sets of 5.25" 2 ways and none of them would fit. In the end I was so tired of the returns process of online shopping I decided to stick with the very average Alpine speakers already in there.

I've got some speakers to fit with a mounting depth of 54mm. I'm sure I've read the available depth is around 58mm.

Not heard of Hybrid Audio, but I'll have a look!!!

Really shouldn't be buying speakers - I've got too many already!!!
Got the bug again a little bit now I've been tweaking though!!!

Already got some top end CDT components that would fit, but with hardly any interior in, (so no covers) and still a bit of water getting in somewhere, I really don't want to waste them in there!!!
