Like the majority of people who lust after an M3 cab, I can't afford one. I've been saving for 2 years, and when I was 70% there, the market seemed to go bonkers, as it turns out, I barely have enough for a well cared for Motorsport at today's prices, and let's face it, they're a total false economy; 12k today, 5k tomorrow... For some elaborate doorcards and an engraved metal plate... Don't think so! (No offence intended, I'm just bitter as it's a 'sellers market' at the mo)
What I do have enough for, is a well funded conversion. I know, the 'concours Nazis' will probably want to lynch me, and if you are one, I respect your opinions and advice, but I'm unlikely to act upon either, so save it... Please.
I've found a cracking donor, 325 cab on 70 000, with what appears to be, a succession of meticulous owners, so 'job done' there. I have a great quote from the company recommended by Zeemax (for wide conversions) to fit and paint. So, I was all ready to purchase some good quality GRP panels, when I saw this:http://www.s14.net/forums/showthread.ph ... ject!!-%29
..Now, if I'm not mistaken, this guy has managed to source the proper OEM BMW bits. When I saw this, there was no way I wanted GRP replacements, if the 'real deal' is out there, I have to have them.
I've spoken to my local BMW dealer, but they're a franchise, not a proper dealer, and as a result are utter shite.
Wondered if any of the e30zone stalwarts, knew how I might source/purchase/ship these into the UK?
If you can help, I promise (scouts honor), that I will provide a full and entertaining build-diary for the forum.
Best regards
Mark

Front wings
01 Side panel, front left 41352238269

Thanks very much, you obviously don't work at Woods in Poole.
As far as I was aware, they're a private enterprise. In comparison to Hexagon of Highgate (where I bought my last BMW), which is direct? (my BACS to buy the car was sent to BMW GMBH not the Dealer's trading name)... Maybe I've got my lingo wrong, but thanks for putting me straight all the same. Either way, there seems to be an inconsistency between an 'authorised dealer', and a 'dealership' which carries with it, a distinct difference in front-of-house skills.
I will need everything that's laid out in the URL above I guess, aswell as a whole load of brackets and bolts which are pertinent to the M3.
If you could reveal your source for part numbers, I'd really appreciate it.
Best regards, and thanks again

Hexagon is privately owned but is still a Franchise, it's also where i happen to work!
Prior to that i was at Vines Gatwick and Chandlers Hailsham.
The possible reason why you BACS payment for the car was sent to BMW, not the trading name was if it was financed through BMW by PCP or HP terms?
Part numbers from here,

Please give my regards to Gary Ruberl, who sold me the nicest car I've ever owned, he should remember me, I bought the car without seeing it, an 03 plate e39 M5, black with caramel.
Thanks very much for the link, I'll get right on it.

If i happen to meet him i will. I work at the workshop in Kentish town, not the sales site in Highgate.
