Fitting a kenwood head unit 2 preouts-(front and rear) running a 4 channel amp for fronts/tweeters and rear speakers 1 channel each front channel runs front&rear and tweets

rear channel running a 12" sub on 2 channel amp bridged across speaker connectors -
not sure on what to set filters/gains stereo etc

there are 3 sets of amp sockets(red/white) on 4 channel amp but dont know which ones to use?
Anyone any good with ICE?

1 for the front inputs, 1 for the rear inputs and the third is most likely a simple through pass to allow you to daisy chain amps together

with regards to the gain on the two channel amp, it's even easier. just set your gain to half and then turn up your headunit untill it begins to distort. then take it down a couple of notches, then turn up the gain on the amp untill that begins to distort and take that also down a couple of notches. easy. to set up your frequency modulation correctly your probably best off just feeding a full range input into your speakers and letting their in built crossovers do the work. That way the speakers only give out what they're crossovers want them to. But obviously this will only work for the fronts and the rears. To set up your sub you need to look at the box your fronts and rears came with and look at the frequency drop off curve that came in the box. when you see the line begin to indicate a lower number of decibels for a certain frequency, THATS the freq. that your sub need to take over from. Most speakers around 5.5" tend to drop off at around 75hz

2 x 5.5 mids and seperate tweets all running from 4 channel amp and the bit i wasnt sure about was the "daisy chain "for the sub amp just need to get gains right etc

what should the degrees switch be set to on 4 channel and sub amp 180 or 0?? also stereo /mono settings??

high pass for main amp low pass for sub amp - yes?

yeah your right, high for 4 channel, low for sub. with regards to the degrees turn knob it's a simple case of phase adjustment. If you've got all your cabling correct e.g. positive to pos black to black etc then you should be ok with 0 but if the sub sounds a bit funny in comparison to the rest of the system then turn it to 180. not many people bother with this though. So if in doubt just don't bother!
