Hi, me and my mate are looking into buying his dads 325 motor sport off him.
He has stumbled upon a set of BBS RC 035's. I've seen a few pics of these wheels and they look amazing.
The wheels are in excellent condition without tyres.

Are these quite rare as the seller states? How much are they worth as we don't want to pay over the odds. Apparently made for the e30 m3 and may need modification to put them on.
Any help appreciated!
Many thanks

Hi, and welcome to the zone, If they wheels in question are designed for the E30 M3, they will be a 5 stud setup (5x120), and your dad's e30 motorsport will be of a 4 stud setup (4x100) , therefore the wheels will not fit.
In order to nmake these fit you have a few options: Firstly you could go down the 5 stud setup route (which is costly), Secondly you could have adaptors made (5x120 > 4x100 - but this will push the wheels out and give you clearance issues depending on the offsets), thirdly and lastly you could alway have them redrilled , but they will have to be flat backed, and this is not always safe (?).
Hope that helps

Reading the post again, the wheels you are reffering to are Style 5 type wheels, these were not designed for the E30 M3 and are more commonly found on the 8 series or 7/5 series, these from memory are not flat backed, therefore harder to redrill, you will have to have to go down the 5 stud setup route to make them fit, this on average will cost you £500.00 to do correctly (please correct me if I'm wrong).
035s were an option on e34 sports. they have the same pcd and centre bore as the e30 m3.
theyre visually identical to the rc090 which is also the same width, offset and pcd, but has the slightly larger e39 centre bore.

You're wrong.. More. So pointless just to fit a set of wheels.Fal_325i wrote:Reading the post again, the wheels you are reffering to are Style 5 type wheels, these were not designed for the E30 M3 and are more commonly found on the 8 series or 7/5 series, these from memory are not flat backed, therefore harder to redrill, you will have to have to go down the 5 stud setup route to make them fit, this on average will cost you £500.00 to do correctly (please correct me if I'm wrong).
