Ok, probably been asked 10 million times already but, I am looking at replacing my front speakers and I tried to do a search but got bored as couldn't find much info of any use.

Obviously this is a 'how long is a piece of string' question but I just want some half decent all round speakers as the ones I have are the original ones and they are long overdue replacing. I tried pushing in some 5.25" ones that I had (now in the rear shelf instead) and I know the fronts need to be a bit more shallow as these wouldn't quite fit.

Has anyone got a good recommendation and/or a part number?

Not bothered about make and don't want to spend much more than £30 if possible.

Any input would be great.

PS I am using a 4x50 aftermarket Alpine HU and no amps etc.
How do you pronounce 'either'? I say 'either', but some say 'either'. Either is correct.

Up your budget to £40 if you can and you can buy the Vibe Slick V3 speakers. These are quite shallow and perfect fit. I got a set of these for my vert and the SQ is pretty good for what they and I'm happy with them. If you do decide to amp them up later they have the power to take an amp.
