is it possible to wire my pioneer 4ohm dual voice coil sub at 1 or 2 ohm?
model number is TS-W3001D4

if each coil is 4ohm then by wiring each speaker cone in parallel will result in 2ohms as seen by the amp, but also now rememeber that each coil will take have the amp power.
you also need to ensure they are wired so that they dont cancel each other out.
how? one wire from the positive output of the amp into the positive of one coil AND the positive of the second positive coil terminal.
then both negatives from each coil go to the negative of the amp. this wires them in parallel and will result in 2 ohms.
