Soundproofing Whole Car

I am going to be soundproofing my whole care before i start putting all of my interior carpets etc etc in. the car will be totally stripped inside, well it already is and i will be fully soundproofing it.

Has anyone done this and does it make a noticeable difference?

Any tips on fitting it??

What is the best product to use value for money wise??

the car is pretty soundproof as it is, you cant hear the music your playing inside on the out even on higher levels all you can hear in mine is the bootlid vibrating,
