14mm closer than a 7j ET24, or the same as a 7j ET38. Going to be close... Not sure how much clearance there is though - on the rear I assume?

ooppps sorry i mean on the front,

im looking to get some 10x15 et00 diamond racing steelies

yep i know it will stick out loads that is the point winkeye

inner clearance will be 2mm more than an 9j et15

outer will poke out the same as this (but i would have more tyre stretch so fitment will be easier)

Image

Image

so outer clearance is not my concern, its weather it'll fit inside, i've heard 9j et15 needs a 3mm spacer to clear the strut, is this correct ? if so then thats cool i'll just use a 3mm spacer with the 10j.

Just be careful of tread showing as you will get pulled over by the cops.

tyre tread should be fine to as i'll use a 205/50/15 and if the tread is covered on the 8jet-25 on the pic ^ up there then it should be covered on a 10j et00 too.

yeah i was wondering about that but the price difference on 45's to 50's is quite a lot, considering i'll be burning them up a lot too.

I'm guessing you will be flaring the arches? Drop it real low so you don't notice it that much

yeah will be flareing the hell out of em and going for an 90/80 drop if thats enough,

205/50's are only £30 and 205/45's are £56 but i just found a pic of a 205/50 on a 10.5 and a 205/45 on a 10 and the 45's look much better.

You dont want too much of a stretch especially if you will be burning them up as you said, or you may find yourself with your tyres coming off the rims. Stretch look is cool for show cars and stright line poke, but start chucking it round corners and the story is different.

ooohhh really I must tell my mates and all the people on Driftworks that they're tyres are gonna fall off

nah i know it can happen but loads of people run stretch i have done before too and problems are few and far between, I'll put plenty of pressure in them and it'll be cool

Should be fun 8O If your going that way, chop the original arch and weld new wider arch in with new metal.

If you are going to run stretch tyres, lower profile pulls off the look better 8)

to me it looks like just a flare will do the job, maybe some inner arch bashing too i dunno, i'll do whatever's necessary.

Awesome 8) I was gonna import a set of these in Jan but found Diamond really shitty to deal with, just my experience though, may have got their act together now! :) (I ended up going for banded 15's)

What are the tyre specs of the one in the pics u posted? They look like 16's to me(?)

This is gonna look awesome tho, hurry up we need pics!! :D

I would be more worried about that front tyre being the wrong way round and the fact the tyre is resting on the wing. To the op you going to be running coilovers?

They'll need small spacers to clear, 3mm will probably work. If you went with 16's they'd fit without spacers- it's that close.

my mates just fitted a set to his ps13, they're 16x10 all round
et00 front and et-12 rear, with 205/45/16 tyres

Image

i test fitted an et00 on the rear of my e30 and it fitted no probs cleared the suspesion etc (up in the air though as its a different pcd), im gonna test fit one on the front when i get the chance, recon i can probably get away with exactly the same spec as what he's got with the correct pcd of course.

interesting to see others are running diamond wheels in more or less the spec were going for on the v8 ka, let us know how you get on with getting the wheels for the land of the free, as im a little cautious of customs and importing them.

I don't wanna sound like geometry bummer because I think they look awesome but how much do they weigh?

I'm guessing being made out of steel , built by the yanks and 16x10s they must weigh the same as a light airplane.
